| Impact, actions & engagements remarquables | | | EN / FR UGPPK is a union of groups with 4414 producers of shea products in the region of Hauts-Bassins (BURKINA FASO). The OBJECTIVES of the union are: Assure the cohesion of producer groups of shea products of the zone and of all the producers of the province of HOUET; Commit to fair trade and organic international guarantee; Increase the supply capabilities of members' quality products; Develop markets for shea and shea products at the national, regional and international levels; Build literacy and training centers for women; Participate in reflections and actions to revive the shea sector in Burkina Faso. Participate in any programme related to the preservation and safeguarding of the shea tree and the environment. Train producers in prevention against STI / HIV AIDS. They participate in major shea events nationally and internationally. Supply the local and international market with the support of L'OCCITANE Foundation, UGPPK has built literacy and training centers. UGPPK est une union de groupements avec 4414 productrices de produits karité dans la région des Hauts-Bassins (BURKINA FASO). Les OBJECTIFS de l’union sont : Assurer la cohésion des groupements de productrices de produits karité de la zone et de toutes les productrices de la province du HOUET ; S’engager pour la garantie internationale équitable et Biologique ; Accroître les capacités d’offre de produits de qualité des membres ; Développer les marchés des produits karité ou à base de karité au plan national, régional et international ; Construire des centres d’alphabétisation et de formation pour les femmes ; Participer aux réflexions et actions de relance de la filière karité au Burkina Faso. Participer à tout programme en matière de préservation et de sauvegarde de l’arbre du karité et de l’environnement. Former les productrices à la prévention contre les IST/VIH SIDA. Ils participent aux grands évènements du karité au plan national et international. Approvisionnent le marché local et international avec l’appui de la Fondation l’OCCITANE UGPPK a construit des centres d’alphabétisation et de formation. | ||||
