| Impact, actions & engagements remarquables | | | EN/FR The Fair Trade project started in 2012 with his client Pro Sain. The project benefits 200 producers members of the Nambinintsoa association and 250 employees. For the financing of Lecofruit project development fund, Prosain jointly pays 5000 euros each year. The development fund belongs to the beneficiaries and is managed jointly by Lecofruit and the beneficiaries. Lecofruit's role is to ensure the proper use of the fund, the choice of the use of the fund is entirely up to the beneficiaries. The first project financed was a sustainable reforestation project in its Androvakely and Miantso production sites, called the "Analakely" or "small forest" project. this project is now paying off: the farmers have started to take advantage of the fruits of the trees, the amount of carbon sequestered by the project amounts to 4 tons of CO2 and there are 18.6 tons of available biomass. This Analakely project is monitored regularly and impacts are measured regularly. 2 other projects have been identified to be implemented as part of the Fair Trade project: - farm chicken farming for its 200 Miantso producers: the objective of this project is to guarantee an additional source of income for the farmers, this project will also improve the quality of the food of the beneficiaries. - The 2nd project concerns the rehabilitation of a public primary school at its production site in Benitompony Sakay. This project was initiated following the request of its employees on the BTP farm. Other activities initiated by the Nambinintsoa association were also carried out: - Common reforestation, on the Bako site. 70 feet were planted in the municipality of Miantso that provided the land, it is the producers who provided the seedlings, the fertilizers and who did all the work of reforestation. the reforestation was done in the presence of the Mayor. - Maintenance of the health center of Miseso Commune. Collaboration began with CSB II of Miantso and Nambinintsoa. This collaboration began with the cleaning of the exterior of the CSB II. It was the members of the association who did the cleaning, they provided the equipment needed for the maintenance. The collaboration of the Nambinintsoa association with the municipality and the CSB II will continue with the active participation of the association in the hygiene and health awareness project that the municipality and the CSB II organizes. Lecofruit provides beneficiaries with capacity building, particularly on the management and the running of the association so that they can be autonomous. Future capacity building will focus on cash management. Le projet équitable a débuté en 2012 avec son client Pro Sain. Le projet profite à 200 producteurs membres de l'association Nambinintsoa et 250 employés. Pour le financement du fond de développement des projets Lecofruit,Prosain verse conjointement 5000 euros chacun annuellement. Le fond de développement appartient aux bénéficiaires et est géré conjointement par Lecofruit et les bénéficiaires. Lecofruit a pour rôle de garantir la bonne utilisation du fond, le choix de l'utilisation du fond revient entièrement aux bénéficiaires. Le premier projet financé a concerné un projet de reboisement responsable dans ses sites de productions Androvakely et Miantso baptisé projet Analakely; ou &petite forêt; ce projet actuellement a apporté ses fruits: les paysans ont commencé à profiter des fruits des arbres fruitiers, la quantité de carbones séquestrée par le projet s'éleve à 4 tonnes de CO2 et il y a 18,6 tonnes de biomasses disponible. Ce projet Analakely est suivi régulièrement et les impacts sont mesurés régulièrement. 2 autres projets ont été identifiés pour être mis en oeuvre dans le cadre du projet équitable: - l'élevage de poulet fermier pour ses 200 producteurs de Miantso : l'objectif de ce projet est de garantir une source de revenu supplémentaire aux paysans, ce projet améliorera aussi la qualité de l'alimentation des bénéficiaires. - Le 2nd projet porte sur la réhabilitation d'un école primaire publique dans son site de production à Benitompony Sakay. Ce projet a été initié suite à la demande de ses employés sur la ferme BTP. D'autres activités à l'initiative de l'association Nambinintsoa ont été également réalisées : - Reboisement commun, sur le site Bako. 70 pieds ont été plantés, c'est la commune de Miantso qui a fourni le terrain, ce sont les producteurs qui ont fourni les plants, les engrais et qui ont fait tout le travail de reboisement. le reboisement a été fait en présence du Maire de la commune. - Entretien de l'extérieur du centre de santé de Base de la commune Miantso. Une collaboration a débuté avec le CSB II de Miantso et l'association Nambinintsoa. Cette collaboration a commencé par le nettoyage de l'extérieur du CSB II. Ce sont les membres de l'association qui ont fait le nettoyage, c'est eux mêmes qui ont fourni le matériel nécessaire à l'entretien. La collaboration de l'association Nambinintsoa avec la commune et le CSB II va se poursuivre par la participation active de l'association dans le projet de sensibilisation à l'hygiène et à la santé que la commune et le CSB II organise. Lecofruit apporte aux bénéficiaires des renforcements de capacité notamment sur la gestion associative et le fonctionnement de l'association afin que ces dernières puissent voler de leur propre ailes. Les prochains renforcements de capacités se porteront sur la gestion de la trésorerie. | ||||
