Supporting fair trade initiatives, utilizing organic ingredients whenever possible, establishing an award winning company health and wellness program, and donating to local non profits are just a few of the ways Lake Champlain Chocolates works in pursuit of extraordinary chocolate moments.
In 2017 the Fair for Life Committee helped launch the community adoptions program and raised over $3000 in cash and donations for the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program. The Bee….Well Program received the Governor’s Excellence in Worksite Wellness Award recognizing the company’s commitment to building a strong wellness culture and high employee participation for the second year in a row. In May 2018 Lake Champlain Chocolates became B Corp certified to collaborate with like minded companies while working to amplify our positive impact within the community and lessen our environmental impact.
