| Impact, special achievements & commitments | | | Depuis sa création en 2005, EFAS a toujours œuvré à promouvoir la femme, acteur majeur de la sauvegarde de la forêt d’arganier, en créant pour elles de nouvelles opportunités de travail et des sources de revenue. EFAS travaille avec près de 300 femmes, organisées en coopératives ou en groupes dans les zones de Lakhsas, Tadrart et d’Essaouira. Ces femmes s’insèrent dans l’ensemble de la chaîne de valeur, depuis la cueillette du fruit de l’arganier jusqu’à son concassage. Dès 2015, EFAS s’inscrit dans une démarche de labellisation équitable, afin de co-définir avec les femmes des actions répondant à leurs besoins. Outre une meilleure rémunération, la mise en place de la démarche a permis la création d’un fonds de développement, financé par les acheteurs équitables d’EFAS. Ce fonds contribue à mener des actions médicales et paramédicales (action « lunettes pour tous » notamment), ainsi que des actions de scolarisation, d’alphabétisation et de formation. | ||||
