Impact, special achievements & commitmentsEN/FR

CÉMOI is the last great French chocolate maker to master the entire chain: from the cocoa tree to the finished product. This monitoring allows it to guarantee full traceability of its products with which it meets the needs of consumers and the entire food industry, from manufacturers to professional chocolate users: chocolate makers, pastry chefs, catering and large distribution. CÉMOI Group employs 3,300 people, including 2,200 in France, where it concentrates 10 of its 14 production units, spread across France.
Committed to sustainable development programs for over 20 years, CÉMOI Group formalized its approach in 2015, by launching its own program: TRANSPARENCE CACAO. It aims to promote sustainable cocoa cultivation by putting producers and their organizations at the center of the action. This program guarantees the traceability of cocoa from the bean to the chocolate; environmental protection and control of the production chain from planter to consumer. It strives to respect quality at each stage of production, with the sole aim of offering chocolate with a unique taste.

In addition to the initiatives of the supply-chain with the TRANSPARENCE CACAO program, the CÉMOI Group is committed to its social and environmental responsibility approach to:
- Reduce its agricultural and industrial environmental footprint
- Promote social well-being both on the plantation and in the factory.
