Certification for corporate social responsibility
Impact, special achievements & commitmentsUnikode privileges the employment of local people. They have supported their people after hurricane Mathew by distributing material for repairs of their homes and clothes. They kept and paid all their employees even though the factory was on halt for several months. They work with vetiver communities to improve their access to drinkable water and support them by repairing access tracks to their localities to maintain the mobility and access to schools, health care and to facilitate the transport of vetiver roots, their main source of income.
