It has now become an innovative processor as well as an exporter for over 7 years. The company has pioneered the first Fair Trade Coconut Sugar in 2013. Together with their client in Switzerland, Aliet Green has pioneered the first Fair Trade chocolate with Fair Trade Coconut Sugar in 2013. The company operates based on sustainable farming principles and under internationally recognized standards. It has a strong presence in the food ingredients sector for processing and trade of certified organic products (e. g. organic coconut sugar) to high-end markets internationally. It is in the process of expanding current operations and supply base with the aim of supporting well over 3,000 farmers and vulnerable groups in Kokap district by 2030. Aliet Green has strong social capital amongst farming communities and local stakeholders including district and village level authorities. It has extensive experience in providing finance, inputs, training and extension services to farmers to promote organic agricultural principles. | ||||
