Social Impact
Social Impact & Special AchievementsThe improvements made since they are committed to Fair Trade are as follows:
1. Communication. A notebook of topics to be treated in meetings was implemented
2. Gas is provided to facilitate food cooking for inland people
3. TV installed
4. Direct TV is provided during the stay of the employees
5. An intermediate agreement was reached for the value of overtime (To be able not to open a 2nd shift and not to harm the workers)
6. The company took over the additional cost of Obra Social of permanent day laborers who did not have access to it (by legal provisions)
7. An exclusive transportation system was implemented with the company Piky Tours SRL for the transfer of people from the interior (They have all new buses). The same company picks them up at a common point chosen by them and moves them to the interior of the farm. The same for the return.
8. The diet of people staying at the farm (in agreement with the kitchen manager) was improved to achieve a reasonable balance of protein and a healthy diet.
Use of Fair Trade PremiumThe 2015 premium was destined to: • 1 TV 29" for the Bedroom of the Warehouse (SET 2016): $ 2,500 • Donation to San Pedro Local School for Building Improvements: $ 16,617. The premium that arises in the present campaign will be destined to school establishment (already chosen by the employees) of Santiago del Estero.
