Kutoka Ardhini ltd has contracted over 6000 smallholder farmers in the last 4 years and has got them FFL certified that allow them going forward to earn fairtrade premium that they will be investing in community projects of their choice. Apart from earning additional incomes, the payment are made through popular Mpesa that allow them to get into the financial inclusion and access credit from other financial institutions. Majority of the crops are perennial trees that contribute positively to mitigation against climate change.
