The Grape Grinder's primary means of effecting positive social change lies in their choice of suppliers. Effecting positive social change in their industry requires money at vineyard level. The Grape Grinder has endeavored to create awareness in their export markets of the merits of paying more for product rather than less and they pass these higher prices on to their export markets in order to retain more value of the value within our borders. The Grape Grinder holds their suppliers and contractors to very high standards and receive annual reports on their CSR programmes and certifications as well as all relevant food safety and production certifications. The Grape Grinder believes in transparency, fairness, openness, excellence and a holistic approach that underlines the value of the partnerships and the people that link the entire value chain. | ||||
