EPICE is a cooperative society for the distribution of organically grown food products to professionals.
Since its creation in 2010, EPICE has been promoting channels that are respectful of people and environment: local production, fair trade, smallholder agriculture and the Mediterranean basin terroirs.
In an effort to reduce their environmental impact, the employees carry out delivery rounds in the region, enabling them to combine delivery to its customers with supply from its producer partners, optimising travel. The consumables used are, whenever possible, ecological or recycled (cleaning products, paper, tape, cardboard, etc.) and the waste is sorted and recycled by a local company.
Finally, EPICE's company policy is based on respect, benevolence, solidarity and sharing; elements that are essential to the smooth running of its business and to the satisfaction of its customers.
2021 is the year of the creation of their brand, Elora, made up of products coming from channels corresponding to their values. It is natural that EPICE has undertaken the Fair for Life certification process in order to formalise its commitment to fair trade and sustainable development. The first certified products are cashew nuts from Togo and light cane sugar from Brazil.
