Certification for fair trade and responsible supply chains
Impact, special achievements & commitmentsEN/FR
Since the collapse of the pineapple market in Côte d'Ivoire, producers have seen their income drop considerably. To improuve the in come of its producers and all those involved in the chain, the SCOPACI-SCOOPS cooperative created in 2015, was certified Organic and GLOBALG.AP / GRASP in 2019. Since January 2020, SCOPACI has been committed to Fair for life certification and ensures fair and equitable working conditions for all its members and employees. All our employees in the field and at the station are paid at the minimum wage. Thanks to its commitment to Fair for life certification, SCOPACI has been able to distinguish itself from other operators in the area where women are paid 20% less than men. In fact, since May 15, 2021, the cooperative has increased women's wages making them equivalent to that of men, thereby redressing an unacceptable injustice.
