| Impact, special achievements & commitments | | | EN/FR Liflor was born from the initiative of a sandalwood cutter on Lifou, who witnessed the export of sandalwood from the island and had the idea of building a distillery in Lifou. Since 2017, Liflor has been producing Caledonian sandalwood essential oil from the Santalum austrocaledonicum species that grows naturally in the island's forests. With fifteen employees and a network of more than 200 cutters, Liflor is proud to participate in the economic development of the island and its communities by sustainably developing the sandalwood resource on its territory. Liflor est née de l'initiative d'un coupeur de bois de santal sur Lifou, qui témoin de l'exportation du santal hors de l'île, a eu l'idée de construire une distillerie à Lifou. Depuis 2017, Liflor produit de l’huile essentielle de santal calédonien à partir de l’espèce Santalum austrocaledonicum qui pousse naturellement dans les forêts de l’île. Fort d’une quinzaine d’employés et d’un reseau de plus de 200 coupeurs, l’entreprise Liflor est fière de participer au développement économique de l’île et de ses communautés en valorisant durablement la ressource santal sur son territoire. | ||||
