| Impact, special achievements & commitments | | | Shevick Sales was founded in 2013 by Karl Shevick, selling natural latex mattresses under the brand name Sleep On Latex. Later, a sister brand called Earthfoam was also formed by Karl Shevick to provide a line of completely organic mattress products. Through our partnership with our Sri Lankan factory, we have quickly grown to become one of the largest retailers of latex mattress products in the USA. Our company has always been committed to providing a healthy, affordable product, while encouraging sustainable environmental and social practices. As a Fair Trade member, Shevick Sales will pay a premium to our latex suppliers, in order to ensure fair pay among the employees at the farming levels. In addition, the premium will go to local projects to benefit the employees, as well as offer educational and social opportunities to these employees and their families. | ||||
