Certification for fair trade and responsible supply chains |
Impact, special achievements & commitments | Maestrani Schweizer Schokoladen AG is a family-owned joint stock company. Maestrani has been producing chocolate in organic quality and with raw materials from fair trade since the 1980s. This makes the company one of the pioneers in this segment. Since 2013, Maestrani has also been producing CO2-neutral chocolate, with the CO2 balance being offset by compensation projects in the countries of origin of the cocoa. Maestrani's high-quality chocolate products are sold either under one of its brands or as private labels. Of the chocolate products, around 35% are exported abroad. The largest foreign markets are Germany and the USA. However, exports are made to around 40 countries worldwide. Maestrani produces almost exclusively finished products for the retail trade, the food service industry and the impulse sector (gas stations, kiosks, etc.). | |||||||
