The kawa kanzururu cooperative was born from the initiative of farmers' organizations (LOFEPACO, SYDIP and APADER) and coffee growers from the territory of Beni, accompanied by RIKOLTO RDC, VECO RDC at the time with the objective of giving hope to the coffee sector , given that its condition in Beni territory was critical. To face this challenge, the Constituent Assembly was organized with the objectives of producing superior quality coffee to obtain a better price and lead the members towards the acquisition of different certifications; this is how it sought the Fair For Life certification, with the aim of improving the living conditions of coffee growers members of the cooperative and of the entire population of the Kawa kanzururu area and its surroundings, through community development actions: Improving children's education by building schools in the area, Providing drinking water, Maintaining supply roads, Improving the living conditions of workers.

La coopérative kawa kanzururu est née de l'initiative des organisations paysannes (LOFEPACO, SYDIP et APADER) et les caféiculteurs du territoire de Beni, accompagné par RIKOLTO RDC, VECO RDC à l'époque avec l'objectif de redonner espoir à la filière caféière, étant donné que son état dans le territoire de Beni était critique. Pour faire face à ce défi, l'assemblée constituante fut organisée avec comme objectifs de produire un café de qualité supérieure pour obtenir un meilleur prix et conduire les membres vers l’acquisition de différentes certifications ; c’est ainsi qu'elle a recherché le Commerce Equitable Fair For Life, dans le but d’améliorer les conditions de vie des Caféiculteurs membres de la coopérative et de la population toute entière de la zone de Kawa kanzururu et ses environs, au travers des actions de développement communautaire : L’amélioration de l’éducation des enfants par la construction des écoles dans la zone, Aménagement de l’eau potable, L’entretien des routes de dessertes, Améliorer les conditions de vie des travailleurs.
