Impact, special achievements & commitmentsThey are a group of of Perkumpulan Petani Organik Wonoagung Wonogiri small scale farmers at Kebonagung, Sidoharjo, Wonogiri, Central Java Indonesia. They are united under Farmer Association, since the year 2012 to ensure environment sustainability through organic farming. Their group has more younger people of 40 years and under in terms of farmers and management. This stems from their desire to regenerate the agriculture in Indonesia, which are mostly dominated by older farmers nearing the pension age.
They have 3 processesing unit with 49 permanent and casual workers. They have certified rice, cashew, and spices for international organic certification also they add new comodity, cacao, to be certified in 2019.
They focus on the process of rice, cashew, spices, and the latest is cocoa started from the supervision of cultivation, purchasing, processing, storing to selling.
All commodities are obtained from farmer members who are certified organic.
