| Impact, special achievements & commitments | | | As a dedicated fair trade brand, Cha’s Organics places high level of importance on uplifting the lives of producer partners and upholding environmental protection. From partnering directly with growers to strengthen their fair trade supply chain to the sourcing of hand-made ecologically friendly packaging materials, Cha’s Organics goes beyond simply paying a fair price and premium and strives to empower communities through long-term partnerships and innovative projects. One percent of all coconut milk sales is also donated to help protect wild elephants, while empowering rural communities to peacefully cohabitate with elephants and local wildlife. Cha’s Organics works directly with organic growers in Sri Lanka to bring new products to market and strengthen existing supply chains. By assisting with training, support and prefinancing, Cha’s Organics is empowering organic growers in Sri Lanka to become world-class exporters of traditional crops such as heirloom rice and indigenous spices. Alongside these projects, Cha’s Organics continually works to support an artisanal women’s community by providing training, materials and prefinancing for the fabrication of their signature handmade paper packaging. | ||||
