Since 2017, FLORIBIS FOR LIFE adventure was full of life experiences. As already certified with organic certification for years, FLORIBIS is highly concerned with social and environmental issues. The step into the FOR LIFE approach is one of its vision embodiments since a sustainable development implies a fair sharing of ressources aiming same development level. The vanilla market price is higly unstable, and because of vanilla price rising, there was high inflation over last few years with an increasing pace since 2016. More specifically, vanilla prices inflation has caused 160% increase of basics necessities supplies prices over the past five years. This situation leads to more vulnerability for the local disadvantaged population. FOR LIFE project gave the opportunity to focus on vulnerable group within the company and amongst community.

Depuis 2017, l'aventure FLORIBIS FOR LIFE a été riche en expériences. Déjà certifié avec une certification biologique depuis des années, FLORIBIS est très préoccupé par les problèmes sociaux et environnementaux. L’approche FOR LIFE est l’une des incarnations de sa vision puisqu'un développement durable implique un partage équitable des ressources visant le même niveau de développement. Le prix du marché de la vanille est extrêmement instable et, en raison de sa hausse, l'inflation a été forte ces dernières années et s'est accélérée depuis 2016. Plus précisément, l'inflation des prix de la vanille a entraîné une augmentation de 160% des prix des fournitures de base au cours des cinq dernières années. Cette situation accroît la vulnérabilité de la population défavorisée locale. Le projet FOR LIFE a permis de mettre l’accent sur les groupes vulnérables de l’entreprise et de la communauté.
