| Impact, actions & engagements remarquables | | | For the worker's family: Offer them a better quality of life by improving conditions in their homes, schools and communities. This also benefits the company by promoting the permanence of the workers and their commitment to the objectives. Some of the social responsibility actions carried out by Comercializadora GAB. Education: - Continuing education programs for workers in coordination with the INEA, from literacy to high school level. In the past 8 years, 87 workers have completed their studies. - They support the children of the workers by delivering school supplies at the beginning of the school year. - Free childcare service for children of workers from 1 year and up to 4 years of age, or up to 6 years if the child has some type of disability. Medical service: - Medical office that offers minor medical assistance and first aid. - Life insurance for each worker. Community: The impact on communities near work sites allows improvements in schools, medical services and recreation. - Development of schools, their facilities, access, halls and toilets. - Facilitate access to medical services within the community. - Generation of recreation spaces such as plazas and parks. - Donation of products for institutions or canteens that serve the population with fewer resources. Environment: - Care of the water resource, using 100 % drip irrigation in the field, 70 % more efficient than traditional irrigation, and recovering water used in the greenhouses to be used in irrigation. - Organic agriculture as a sustainable practice, rotation of crops in all their fields and elaboration of organic compost to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers. - Solar panels that generate the partial electricity used in the field. | ||||
