| Impact, actions & engagements remarquables | | | The Germany based company Elmer & Zweifel has been producing textile products for generations. The company sources its raw materials from organic certified smallholder cotton producers in Kirgistan and Uganda under fair trade conditions. Elmer & Zweifel has a very close and longterm relationship with its suppliers for years and is actively supporting the cotton producers and their further economic development. Elmer & Zweifel is highly commited to eco-friendly and socially responsible production practices and good working conditions along the entire chain of custody. Cooperation with people in other countries and with different cultures whose condition of life differ fundamentally from each other needs a high level of reciprocal care and respect. But for a result that is successful in the long-term and is satisfactory for both sides it needs more: conviction of the need for conservation of ecological diversity and with that the basis for everyone’s livelihood. | ||||
