Impact, actions & engagements remarquables | Riegel Bioweine is an owner-managed family company, which imports and distributes organic wine since the mid 80s. The founder and owner of the company Peter Riegel is among the pioneers of organic who have significantly contributed to the ecological movement in Germany. Riegel purchases around 1000 types of organic wine from the whole world. The wine is chosen with care and is subjected to an exemplary quality management system. The visibly lived company philosophy is formative: „Organic is not a short-term trend for them, but rather an expression of quality, way of life and respect for nature“. The company is the leading whole sale for organic wine and is among the top 10 wine importers in Germany. Fair trade is part of the sustainability strategy of the company and means a long-term partnership, which is based on respect, readiness for dialog and transparency, and which would not function without the personal engagement of all participants, both the producers, as well as the retailers and the employees. | |||||||
