| Impact, actions & engagements remarquables | | | EN/FR GIE QABCOO, was created to help the marketing of raw materials of small producers in the Kaolak region. It thus makes it possible to organize the supply-chains and to access markets and industrial partnerships by adding up the volumes of productions. It brings together several sub-groups of producers representing different villages. It now includes 557 member producers. 56 producers from 12 different villages are organic certified and Fair trade certified for bissap, moringa and hot pepper contracted with Racines SA. The activities of the GIE are: Production and marketing of bissap, moringa and hot pepper + processing (sorting, drying) - Seed distribution - Joint management of equipment - Training and support for small producers, internal control. Le GIE QABCOO, a été crée dans le but d'aider la commercialisation des matières premières des petits producteurs de la région de Kaolak. Il permet donc d'organiser les filières et d'accéder à des marchés et partenariats industriels en additionnant les volumes de productions. Il réunit plusieurs sous-groupements de producteurs, représentant différents villages. Il comprend aujourd'hui 557 producteurs membres. 56 producteurs venant de 12 villages différents sont certifiés BIO et labellisés équitables pour le bissap, moringa et piment contractualisés avec l'entreprise Racines SA. Les activités du GIE sont : Production et commercialisation du bissap, moringa et piment + transformation (triage, séchage)- Distribution de semences- Gestion commune du matériel - Formation et appui aux petits producteurs, contrôle interne. | ||||
