ACTIBIO was created in 2001 by Birgit UETZ. Originally from Germany, Birgit worked for 10 years in the organic market before becoming a company manager. Her great knowledge of the organic market and organic ingredients as well as her large network of French, European and global organic suppliers, allowed her to build Actibio. Since 2004, Actibio is based in Changé, a town located in the department of Mayenne (53) in the Pays de la Loire region. They limit the impacts of the carbon footprint because they operate with a short-circuit delivery method that is to say that they are the only intermediary between the supplier and the customer,
They are a company offering 100% organic products but also organic and gluten-free products, organic and vegan, organic and fair trade.

ACTIBIO a été créé en 2001 par Birgit UETZ. D’origine allemande, Birgit a travaillé 10 ans sur le marché bio avant de devenir chef d’entreprise. Sa grande connaissance du marché bio et des ingrédients biologiques ainsi que son important réseau de fournisseurs bio français, européens et mondiales, lui ont permis de bâtir Actibio. Depuis 2004, Actibio est installé à Changé, une commune située dans le département de la Mayenne (53) en région Pays de la Loire.
