The company exports between 150 and 350 t per year to meet customer demand. It was in 2006 that the structure, then called Henri Fraise Fils & Cie - HFF, entered into the certification of products from organic farming. The chosen certification body is ECOCERT. Since the development of this market for HFF - SOMAVA, the volumes of ORGANIC vanilla have only increased. It is the showcase of the company in terms of traceability, ethics, ... An additional dimension is added to the products supplied by SOMAVA (2016) by offering FFL vanilla. La Société Malgache de Vanille - SOMAVA est une entreprise de collecte, préparation/transformation, conditionnement et exportation de vanille. L’entreprise exporte entre 150 et 350 t par an pour répondre à la demande de ses clients. C'est en 2006 que la structure, alors appelée Henri Fraise Fils & Cie – HFF, rentre dans la certification de produits issus de l'agriculture biologique. L'organisme certificateur choisi est ECOCERT. Depuis le développement de ce marché pour HFF – SOMAVA, les volumes en vanille BIOLOGIQUE n’a fait qu’augmenter.
