 | Impact, special achievements & commitments |  |  | Jalles Machado was founded in 1980 with a social mission: generate more jobs and income for Goianésia-GO. The company constantly invests in technology and innovation. It is likewise reference in quality, environmental preservation, social responsibility, besides of being present in more than 20 countries with the brand Itajá. Jalles Machado has certifications that guarantee the business promote sustainability, based on those three core areas: environmental protection, economic and social development. The valorization of the human being and the promotion of the sustainable development are company biggest pillars. Their greatest capital is their employees, because they are who make the difference in their business. Therefore, they do value each one and provide several programs on their benefit. The following are the programs to which the FFL Development Fund applies to: *Essay Contest: To encourage reading and writing, the Foundation promotes the Writing Contest “Dr. Otávio - Dream Builder”. Held in partnership with the Goianésia Regional Education Office, it offers several prizes for students and teachers, whereas for the winner a scholarship of 25 thousand reais (approximately USD 7.709,05). *Soccer School: The Jalles Machado Sports Association has, since 1997, a soccer school. Currently, it has around 300 students, from 7 to 15 years old. Its players compete for local and regional championships. It is a social project that does not aim to develop great athletes, even though, handful talents have already been discovered there, and hired for Brazilian professional sport teams such as Goianésia Sport Team, Vila Nova, Goiás, Atlético Goiano and Grêmio. *Vegetable Garden: The company maintains an organic vegetable garden and supply it as a donation to the Municipal Day Care Center (CMEI) through social assistance department. *Dentition Projects: The project aim is to avoid dental diseases, carrying out educational actions with children at schools and other citys institutions. |
