Certification for fair trade and responsible supply chains
Impact, special achievements & commitmentsEN/FR

Since its creation in 1997, Golgemma has been offering a wide range of organic certified aromatic natural products and is committed to a production and manufacturing process that respects human beings and the environment. However, the desire to go beyond this commitment quickly led the company to invest in fair trade. In 2004, it joined the association Bio Equitable and in 2010 it obtained the ESR label for part of its range. Today it offers more than 20 essential oils, vanilla and spices FFL-certified.
Among their multiple supply chains, they have for many years established a privileged link with Madagascar.
As part of its fair trade commitment, it work with its Malagasy partners to improve the living conditions of producers, access to training and education as well as social and environmental development. In concrete terms, the development fund allocated to workers or farmers associations has made it possible to set up very diversified projects such as the renovation of a school and its toilets, the construction of a bridge, a canteen for the staff or a well for the supply of drinking water, the development of a rice field, the purchase of a canoe, zebus or the provision of clove trees patches to the farmers.
