Certification for fair trade and responsible supply chains
Impact, special achievements & commitmentsEN / FR

Destination was created in 1999 by travel and gastronomy enthusiasts , convinced by organic farming. Located in Bordeaux (head office and roasting site), we control the entire value chain: Import, Transformation, Distribution. As a roaster, we sell coffees, teas, infusions, cocoa and sugars.
We want to offer the greatest number of people the opportunity to discover and taste quality organic coffee and tea.
For this, Destination commits on a daily basis to:
DEFEND short supply chains to bring closer consumption and production
SELECT our suppliers according to their social and environmental policy, where child labor is totally excluded
FAVOUR fair trade exchanges by promoting conditioning at the plantation within the fair trade framework

But our commitment is mostly reflected in concrete actions with our suppliers.
In 2016 we created FFL supply-chains for the Honduras coffee , Sri Lanka tea, Dominican Republic cocoa and Brazil sugar.
A responsible approach to engage producers in their daily projects:
-setting up self-entrepreneur projects generating additional income
-improving the living conditions of farmers (buying a bus, building a nursery ..) and organic farming practices
-setting up reception facilities for children from farmers'families.

Because all our actions, however small, have an impact, Destination will always act to minimize its environmental impact and enter the community of corporate citizens.
