Social Impact
Social Impact & Special AchievementsHHT developed and implemented its Organic and Fair For Life program and its ICS in 2015. These initiatives allowed HHT to include 205 farmers with 337 farms and 24 collection centers in the program, along with their farmers and workers, reaching local communities. HHT has helped to arrange the FFL Premium Fund Project “Mobile Health Check-up”, in 2017 (January to April 2017) was organized for farmers, farms and collection centers’ workers, as well as local communities in 5 districts, 4 provinces. 386 people benefited from this project. For the second project “School Uniform” 408 children (between 4 and 18 years old) received 816 sets of school uniform. The next step of the health project is to develop “Mobile Medical Unit” in the remote areas to provide medical and dental treatment. The first station was organized with 135 beneficiaries last year and they are planning to organize at least 2 sessions in 2017.
Use of Fair Trade PremiumThe Mobile Health Check Up project: This program has benefited to 2,732 beneficiaries, who are not only farmers and workers in HHT chain of custody but also local communities. In 2017, they have started to move forward the health program by providing both Mobile Health Check-up project target to reach 3,000 beneficiaries and Mobile Medical Units (MMU) at least 2 sessions. They coordinate with local hospital to set up MMU for children/people in rural area, which is very difficult to access medical treatment.
