Impact, special achievements & commitmentsGUAYAKI started its operations in 1996 with the vision of protecting and restoring the rainforests of South America. In 2009, GUAYAKI became the first Yerba Mate company certified under the Fair for Life Certification. Aside from that, GUAYAKI is a member of the Fair Trade Federation and holds the organic (USDA) and Kosher certications.
The company operates from primary production, involving indigenous communities and producer groups, to the production of various types of processed products based on Yerba Mate.
