Kwale Coconuts Organic and fair trade grower group has 41 villages. Each village has an elected representative, all the Village repsentatives then have an elected office comprising of Chair, Secretary and deputies.

The grower group has 1411 farmers from 41 villages with an average of 11 acres land ownership who are also certified organic with an estimated yield of over 7milion nuts/year.
Kwale coconut has 59 employees in all who are permanent.
Kwale coconuts earns a fair trade premium which goes back to the staffs and community as fair trade projects. Executed projects include, health insurance cover for staffs, coconuts seedlings projects for farmers among others.
