Social Impact
Social Impact & Special AchievementsReceiving the Fair Trade award had a very important social impact for RALOP producers in San Juanito, especially since it was the first time they had the opportunity to contribute a social benefit to their community and even more because the beneficiaries were the children from the primary school of the community who will have the opportunity to improve their education through the donated equipment and will have the opportunity of an interactive education that is only possible in urban schools.
Use of Fair Trade PremiumThe decision to use the Fair Trade premium was taken at a Fair Trade committee meeting. Decision by vote on the proposal to benefit the San Juanito primary school with the provision of 6 computers, a laser printer, video-projector, sound equipment and an interactive whiteboard to improve the education of primary school students, very important as young students will have access to a new level of education only urban schools have, it is necessary to promote education as a tool to defend a better lifestyle.
