Impact, special achievements & commitmentsAs a second generation, family-owned company that sources non-GMO ingredients from around the globe, Lake Champlain Chocolates believes in improving the chocolate experiences for everyone – from the cacao farmers and customers, to every hardworking person and supplier along the way. Supporting fair trade initiatives, utilizing organic ingredients whenever possible, establishing an award winning company health and wellness program, and donating to local non profits are just a few of the ways Lake Champlain Chocolates works in pursuit of extraordinary chocolate moments.
In 2017 the Fair for Life Committee helped launch the community adoptions program and raised over $3000 in cash and donations for the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program. The Bee….Well Program received the Governor’s Excellence in Worksite Wellness Award recognizing the company’s commitment to building a strong wellness culture and high employee participation for the second year in a row. In May 2018 Lake Champlain Chocolates became B Corp certified to collaborate with like minded companies while working to amplify our positive impact within the community and lessen our environmental impact.
