| Impact, special achievements & commitments | | | Lao Integrated Farms, Inc. (LIFI) is a sustainable family SME and social enterprise based in the Philippines. The company manufactures and exports high-quality 100 % organic coconut sap-based products. Its primary missions are to generate income and employment for the people in its community and to empower women by giving them access to a friendly work environment and stable income. Women in the community benefit from a plethora of LIFI’s projects: Eman Handweavers Association who are composed of mostly women in the village where LIFI is located; LIFI’s coconut sap suppliers are also helped by their women family members who assist them in making sure the harvested sap are compliant with the Food Safety Standards. Those women have also been trained with GMP through the initiatives of LIFI. | ||||
