Alitech Industries SARL is a Beninese company created since 1999 in Abomey Calavi in ​​southern Benin. It specializes in processing agricultural products mainly tubers (cassava, sweet potato, plantains). Its main partner is the French company Racines, which has been purchasing processed products since 2006. Alitech has a semi-modern stainless steel processing unit located in Akassato in Abomey-Calavi, 20 km north of Paris. Cotonou with a capacity of 100 tons of finished products by year14 / 11/2018. The company is about twenty years old and has developed appropriate technologies for the processing of local agricultural products. The cassava derivatives are gari, tapioca, unfermented cassava flour, plantain flour and sweet potato flour. Applied food technologies are semi-artisanal and certified organic. The approach for the future is to develop the concept of the circular economy in order to tend toward zero waste by producing any part of the energy consumed by the valorization of the waste resulting from the production. It also trains producers on sustainable agricultural practice.


Alitech Industries SARL est une société de droit béninois créée depuis 1999 à Abomey Calavi au Sud du BENIN. Elle est spécialisée dans la transformation des produits agricoles essentiellement les tubercules (Manioc, patate douce, bananes plantains). Elle a comme principal partenaire la société française Racines qui achète les produits transformés depuis 2006. Alitech dispose d'une unité semi-moderne en matériels inox pour la transformation située à Akassato dans la commune d'Abomey-Calavi située à 20 km au Nord de Cotonou d'une capacité de 100 tonnes de produits fini par an14/11/2018. L'entreprise a une vingtaine d'années d'existence et a développé des technologies appropriées pour la transformation des denrées agricoles locales. Les dérivés du manioc sont le gari, le tapioca, la farine de manioc non fermentée, la farine de banane plantain et de la farine de patate douce. Les technologies alimentaires appliquées sont semi-artisanales et sont certifiées biologiques. La démarche pour le futur est de développer le concept de l'économie circulaire afin de tendre vers zéro déchet en produisant toute partie de l'énergie consommée par la valorisation des déchets issus de la production. De même, elle forme les producteurs pour une pratique agricole durable.
