Social Impact
Social Impact & Special AchievementsTheo is proud to be the first organic and fair trade bean-to-bar chocolate company in North America. Theo partners with like-minded organizations that share their commitment to social and environmental responsibility. Since their founding in 2006, they have developed partnerships with many organizations, notably the Eastern Congo Initiative. Theo’s partnership with the Eastern Congo Initiative (ECI) has created income-generating opportunities for cocoa farmers in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a region that has been devastated by decades of poverty and violence. Locally, Theo is dedicated to supporting the health of the Puget Sound community, working with non-profit organizations. Theo has been recognized for their work through a variety of awards.
