Social Impact & Special AchievementsDr. Bronners put out its first Corporate Social Responsibility Report in 2014, and it highlights many areas in which the company contributes to the community, both locally and globally. In 2014, the company contributed $346,319 in fair trade premiums, which supported projects in farming, health, education, water/sanitation, and infrastructure in 10 supplier areas. It matched donations, dollar for dollar, to Keva to provide micro loans to 87 coconut farmers. Domestically, the company contributed over $4 million to various social causes. On the Dr. Bronners premises, the company has analyzed its garbage and recycling, and is well on its way to zero waste, and has subsidized a healthy
lunch program for its employees. It continues to push the envelope for what fair trade means and what it can accomplish.
